On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Antoni Tàpies, the Reina Sofía Museum and the Fundació Antoni Tàpies are organizing one of the most complete exhibitions dedicated to the artist, Antoni Tapies La práctica del arte, with more than 220 works from museums and private collections all over the world. the world, showing his career between 1943 and 2012.

Through the works on display, some of which have not been exhibited together in a long time, this exhibition showcases Tàpies’ prolific career in relocating his work and influences in recent art history.

The exhibition Picasso 1906. The Turning Point is at Museo Reina Sofia until March 4th.

The exhibition offers a reflection on the concept of “modern art” developed by the artist. The Picasso exhibition in 1906 is both an epilogue to the pink period and a preview of Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. The 1906 was, for Picasso, a “period” in itself within his creative evolution.

Maestras at Thyssen Bornemisza in Madrid until 4 February 2024

Until the 4th of February 2024 is open the exhibtion titled Maestras that theMuseo Thyssen realized with the collaboration of Arp Museum Rolandseck in Remagen and dedicated to the great ‘masters’ of art with a selection of masterpieces ranging from the end of the 16th century to the first decades of the 20th.

The exhibition is structured by historical periods, artistic genres and themes, accompanying the visitor to discover how some of these extraordinary figures addressed the crucial issues of their time, giving life to new iconographies or alternative points of view.

Amazonia di Sebastiao Salgado at Centro Cultural de la Villa Fernán Gómez is designed to showcase the beauty and awareness of the fragility of the planet’s main ecosystem.

The exhibition combines images, music and sounds of nature, to create an immersive and multi-sensory experience. This exhibition is the result of years of work carried out in the field by the photographer and Lélia Wanick.

The exhibition has already been seen by more than 1,4 million of people in Paris, Rome, London, Los Angelse, San Paolo and Janeiro.
