To celebrate the arrival of spring here are the must see spring 2024 exhibitions around Italy: the protagonist is certainly the Renaissance which is on display both in Bassano del Grappa and in Forlì, where the Pre-Raphaelites arrived.

Renaissance in black and white The art of engraving in Venice (1494-1615) at the Civic Museum of Bassano del Grappa until 23 June 2024
From March 2nd to June 23rd 2024, the Musei Civici in Bassano del Grappapresent the exhibition Renaissance in black and white. The art of engraving in Venice (1494-1615), an exceptional exhibition dedicated to Venetian engraving and the authentic revolution that was the birth and spread of printing.
The exhibition offers 90 graphic masterpieces created by the major artists of the Renaissance including Andrea Mantegna, Albrecht Dürer, Jacopo de’ Barbari, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese, Cornelis Cort, Agostino Carracci, Giuseppe Scolari.

Anselm Kiefer Fallen Angels at Palazzo Strozzi until 21 July 2024
From the 22nd of March to 21st of July 2024, Palazzo Strozzipresents Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels, new major exhibition conceived and created together with one of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st centuries: a journey through historical works and new productions, including a new major work created in dialogue with the Renaissance courtyard.
The expression “fallen angels” indicates the angels expelled from Paradise following their rebellion against God. This symbolic image becomes the starting point of the exhibition: a journey through allegories, figures and forms that reflect on identity, poetry, historical events, different philosophical thoughts.
Palermo Liberty The Golden Age at Palazzo Sant’Elia in Palermo until the al 30th of May
At Palazzo Sant’Elia di Palermo, until 30th of May , there is an important exhibition dedicated to the art, culture and society of the very happy Palermo:Palermo Liberty The Golden Age.
Are exhibited around 500 artworks from 1897 to 1923. A long exhibition itinerary that recounts the thousand facets and the many protagonists of a unique season, the Liberty.

Capodimonte da Reggia a Museo at the Reggia di Venaria until 15 September 2024
Until the30th of June 2024 the exhibition Pre-Raphaelites. Modern Renaissance , through around 300 artworks including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, and much more, will tell the story of the Pre-Raphaelites and a substantial representation of Italian models, including works by ancient masters, to British works; but also works by Italian artists of the late nineteenth century inspired by British precursors.
Gio Ponti Ceramiche 1922 – 1967 at the MIC International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza until 13 October 2024
The MIC Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza continues the program of valorization of the characters and of the great manufacturers that have built the Made in Italy ceramic continues with Gio Ponti. Ceramics 1922 – 1967 until the 13th October 2024.
During his long career, Ponti came into contact with various Italian ceramic companies: the Cooperativa Ceramiche di Imola, Pietro Melandri and the Faenza context, with Ceramiche Pozzi, Joo and Gabbianelli, to name the main companies with which he promoted unique and extraordinarily unique paths and projects current. His knowledge sees him at the center of the Italian cultural debate and the definition of Italian rationalism.
