Claude Monet, father of the Impressionism and among the most appreciated artists of all times , arrives in a great exhibition in Padua, from 9th of March 2024 at Centro Culturale Altinate San Gaetano.
Monet in Padua, the exhibition
This exhibtion, realized thanks to the collaboration with the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris, turns out to be an exciting story with over 50 masterpieces, many of which are iconic, including the Water Lilies, the Irises, the London Landscapes and so on.
Monet inPadua, in addition to the obvious value of the artworks it exhibits, it is an even more significant exhibition: for several years, in fact, the artworks made by he French painter will no longer be available for an exhibition in Italy.
The masterpieces from the Musée Marmottan Monet
The artworks on display are those from the Musée Marmottan Monet which, thanks to an important bequest in 1966 from Michel Monet, the artist’s son, houses the largest and most important collection of paintings by the French artist.
These are not common artworks, but rather those that Monet cared about the most, so much so that he jealously guarded them in his home in Giverny until his death in 1926.
The appointment with Monet in Padua is until August 4th.
