From 17 October, at Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Torino opens Hayez L’officina del pittore romantico .
The exhibition unfolds along an original path that compares paintings and drawings, with over 100 artworks from prestigious public and private collections in addition to some important paintings by the artist kept at the GAM, such as the Portrait of Carolina Zucchi in bed (L ‘sick) and the announcing Angel.
Through ten sections, the exhibition itinerary retraces the years of his education between Venice and Rome, where Hayez enjoyed the protection and friendship of Canova, up to the Milanese period.
The Hayez exhibition in Turin recalls the intense biographical story and creative path of the artist, the undisputed protagonist of Romanticism.
The exhibition can be visited until April 1, 2024.
