Sebastião Salgado. Exodus – Humanity on the move, curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado will be at the MAR di Ravenna from 22nd of March to 2nd June 2024.
The exhibition will consist of 180 photographs, divided into four sections: Migrants and refugees: the survival instinct, The African tragedy: a continent adrift, Latin America: rural exodus, urban disorder, Asia: the new urban face of world.
The exhibition ends with a room dedicated to portraits of children, representing tens of millions more who can be found in the slums, refugee camps and rural settlements of Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
