The Museo Nivola, from 30th of March to June the 3rd, presents the first solo exhibtition in an Italian institution of Siro Cugusi titled Siro Cugusi Chimere .
Siro Cugusi painting tecnique consist of artworks on canvas and paper that are striking for their refined technique and multiple suggestions.
The natural landscape is a recurring topic for Cugusi, which he evokes with large fields of green that refer to trees and plants.
In his artworks, on the one hand we find the formal simplification of the subjects and the stylized details in the landscape which recall the masters of the first Reinassance, from Masaccio to Piero della Francesca; on the other hand, the image of the garden as a secret and spiritual dimension recalls the triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights, created starting from the end of the fifteenth century by the Flemish painter Hieronymus Bosch.
