At Museo Correr in Venice, from the 17th Aprile to 24th of November 2024, is opened the exhibition, curated by Donatien Grau, titled “Francesco Vezzoli. Tears Museum “.
The exhibition is based on the continuos research made byVezzolidedicated to the dialogue with the artistic heritage and carried out in a radical and innovative way.
Almost thirty years ago, the artist began to embroider tears on images of masterpieces, thus creating his own museum and challenging the very idea of the museum as an affirmation of power.
