Salone del Mobile 2022: what not to miss in Milan

Today, Tuesday June 7, the Salone del Mobile in Milano opens.

The event, which will conclude on Sunday the 12th and is now in its 60th edition, features the participation of around two thousand exhibitors, of which 25% are foreign.

Milano is therefore preparing for a hectic week, filled with events throughout the city.

Adi Design Museum

L‘ Adi Design Museum presents theADI Design Week 2022: an intense program of exhibitions and events along with special openings until 8 PM. The museum showcases a reflection on contemporary design. Here is the program:

Vico Magistretti Foundation

The Vico Magistretti Foundation opens every day from 11 AM to 8 PM with free admission and no reservation required during the Salone and presents the exhibition Magistretti Revisited and the event Magisketch Revisited, during which visitors can stop to draw a corner or a glimpse of the Foundation. The most original drawings will be displayed in the museum until the end of the Magistretti Revisited exhibition.

The drawing voted as the best of all by the Scientific Committee of the Foundation will instead be awarded with 3 posters from the Vico collection.

Kartell Museum

The Kartell Museum will physically participate in the Salone. You will find it at Milano Rho Fiera in pavilion 20, stand A9/B10.

Achille Castiglioni Foundation

The Achille Castiglioni Foundation will be open with guided tours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM. Reservation is mandatory.

Triennale

The Triennale offers a program that includes permanent installations, such as the Museum of Italian Design and Casa Lana by Ettore Sottsass, along with other events for the Milano Design Week 2022, like Memphis Again, in collaboration with Memphis Milano and Ettore Sottsass.
