I Love Lego on display in Palermo
In Palermo, at the Loggiato San Bartolomeo, the Lego bricks arrive with the exhibition “I Love Lego”, previously displayed in both Rome and Milan.
I LOVE LEGO is an exhibition designed to dream and have fun among the details of entire miniature worlds.
A traveling exhibition on Lego
The spaces of the Loggiato are filled with dozens of square meters constructed with LEGO® bricks that form true works of architecture and engineering.
From the ideal contemporary city to the legendary adventures of pirates, from medieval landscapes to the splendors of Ancient Rome, reconstructed and meticulously designed with the most famous modules in the world.
Among 6 fantastic dioramas built with the help of passionate private collectors, many installations at the Loggiato di San Bartolomeo make the exhibition unique.
The worlds of Lego are accompanied by the delightful comic strips created by “Legolize”.
As a demonstration of how simple bricks have become part of everyone’s life, they are also expressed through various forms of art.
Along the exhibition path, there are also oils inspired by great masterpieces of art history reinterpreted and transformed into “Lego men” by contemporary artist Stefano Bolcato: combining his passion for LEGO and his art – through an oil painting technique – he creates assemblage forms particularly inspired by the “magnetism” of Renaissance portraits.

What is Loggiato San Bartolomeo
The Loggiato San Bartolomeo in Palermo is what remains of an ancient hospital destroyed by bombings in 1943.
The Loggiato San Bartolomeo today is a valid cultural and artistic center, hosting events and art exhibitions.
Over the years, it has undergone restorations that have established a new relationship between the monument and the surrounding urban context, thanks to large windows facing the Foro Umberto I, which transform the wide naves into long and bright balconies overlooking the sea.
Since 2013, the Loggiato San Bartolomeo has been managed by the Fondazione Sant’Elia.

Since 2013, in addition to the Loggiato, it manages Palazzo Celestri Santa Croce and Trigonadi Sant’Elia.
The Foundation is a cultural center at 360°, spanning visual art, musical and literary activities. The Loggiato collaborates with public and private institutions and individual collectors, opening up the possibility of hosting meetings and events.
