Picasso e l’antico, at MANN Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples – extended until October 2nd
The exhibition “Picasso e l’antico” atMANN Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples has been extended until October 2nd. On display the profound echo of the trip to Italy in 1917 on Picasso’s artistic production which has long been recognized and now represents a fixed point in literature.
Ninì Sgambati / Paolo Puddu, at Madre Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina until October 16th
Ninì Sgambati/Paolo Puddu. Detto tra le righe at Museo Madre initiates a comparison and an intergenerational dialogue between pairs of artists, played on the terrain of the archive understood as a living material plastically connected to research and artistic practice. In the three rooms of Museo Madre as many works are presented, conceived for this project, which constitute a minimal writing in close connection, like the three parts of a sentence, of a logical structure and meaning.

Kazuko Miyamoto, at the MADRE Donnaregina Museum of Contemporary Art in Naples until 9 October
Kazuko Miyamoto is at Museo Madre from July 6ht to October 9th 2023. The exhibtion path unfolds by retracing the different phases and the numerous media through which the artist’s practice developed from the 1970s to the early 2000s. Miyamoto ideally dialogues with the permanent collection of the museum, in particular with10,000 Lines (2005) di Sol LeWitt (Hartford, 1928 – New York, 2007).

Paladino The 104 drawings of Pulcinella at Palazzo Reale – extendend until January 9th
The Palazzo Reale di Napoli hosts the exhibtion by Mimmo Paladino dedicated to Pulcinella, “The 104 drawings of Pulcinella”.
In the exhibitions there are 104 drawings made more than thirty yeas ago by Paladino who was inspired by the album Divertimenti per li regazzi(Fun for kids, 1797 ) by Giandomenico Tiepolo where are illustrated the Pulcinella’s adventures, death and resurrection.
The exhibtion, now extendend, will be open to the public until January 9th.
Beyond Caravaggio A new story of painting in Naples in Capodimonte until 31 December 2023
The exhibition Beyond Caravaggio. A new story of painting in Naples , that can be visited until December 31st , is divided into the 24 rooms on the second floor of Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte. This exhibition includes 200 artworks : these are all coming from Museum’s permament collections with no external loans.
