Robert Capa in History at Mudec Museum of Cultures in Milan until March 19, 2023
In conjunction with the 110th anniversary of the birth of Robert Capa, the Mudec pays tribute to the great photographer with a solo exhibition that retraces his war and travel reports created during his twenty years of career.
The exhibition “Robert Capa. In History”, open until March 19, 2023, brings together an exceptional corpus of photographs: over 80 photographic prints, some of which have never been exhibited before in an Italian exhibition, along with some original documents.
“Robert Capa. In History” tells the story of the photographer who described the History of the 20th century through his black and white portraits and his war and travel reports.
Capa introduced the world not only to the horrors and miseries of the many armed conflicts that characterized the last century and the faces of the men and women who made History, but also to everyday life.

Bosch: Another Renaissance at the Palazzo Reale in Milan until March 12, 2023
Jheronimus Bosch is at the Palazzo Reale di Milano.
Bosch represents the emblem of an ‘alternative’ Renaissance rather than a classical one.
This belief serves as the foundation for the exhibition titled “Bosch and Another Renaissance.”
The exhibition path of “Bosch and Another Renaissance” presents around a hundred works of art including paintings, sculptures, tapestries, engravings, bronzes, and ancient volumes, including about thirty rare and precious objects from wunderkammern.
Bosch and Another Renaissance puts masterpieces traditionally attributed to the Master in dialogue with important works by other Flemish, Italian, and Spanish masters, in a comparison aimed at explaining to the visitor how the ‘other’ Renaissance influenced great artists such as Titian, Raphael, Gerolamo Savoldo, Dosso Dossi, El Greco, and many others.
The exceptional nature of the exhibition is also due to the fact that Bosch is the author of very few works universally attributed to him, which, given their value and rarity, rarely leave the museums to which they belong, and even more rarely are seen gathered in a single exhibition.

Antonio Bassanini. Builder of the Twentieth Century at the Adi Design Museum from December 5 until January 15, 2023
The Adi Design presents, starting from December 5, the exhibition Antonio Bassanini. Builder of the Twentieth Century.
Antonio Bassanini was an entrepreneur and builder who, through his work, contributed after the war until the 1970s to the reconstruction not only of Milan but of the entire Country.
Thanks to his collaborations with architects and designers, his work became the result of the union between architectural design and building construction. Bassanini built houses, industries, offices, churches, hospitals and infrastructures that changed the face of Milan and all of post-war Italy.
In Milan, he created industrial plants for Pirelli, CGE-Ansaldo, Innocenti, Bianchi, and Carlo Erba, just to name a few.
Bassanini was always driven by a deep civic and political passion, aimed at the well-being and growth of the Country. The story of Bassanini enriches the understanding of that mosaic of family businesses that were protagonists of the “economic miracle” of the post-war period, credited with transforming Italy into a great industrial nation.

The World is Ours at the Fondazione Stelline until January 8, 2023
Fondazione Stelline presents, until January 8, 2023, the new solo exhibition of Omar Hassan “The World is N(v)ours”, an exhibition organized and promoted by Fondazione Stelline, with the sponsorship of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan.
Famous for his personal action painting and his unmistakable style, which has a strong visual and emotional impact, Omar Hassan sees the act of fighting as a metaphor for life and transforms it into art, winning over collectors such as De Niro, Spike Lee, and Sharon Stone.
With a solid classical training at the Accademia di Brera, where he graduated from the Painting course taught by Alberto Garutti, Omar Hassan has always experimented between painting and sculpture, in a spontaneous dialogue. In the exhibition project designed for the spaces of Fondazione Stelline, Omar Hassan goes beyond the label of “boxer artist” that made him famous, revealing new aspects of his art, a mirror and expression of different states of mind, an explosion of energy and at the same time intimate introspection.
