Bruce Nauman Neons Corridors Rooms
Bruce Nauman illuminates Pirelli Hangar Bicocca with his works in the context of the solo exhibition titled Bruce Nauman Neons Corridors Rooms.
The exhibition, in Milan until February 26, pays tribute to one of the most significant living artists in contemporary art.
Bruce Nauman Corridors Room, organized in collaboration with Tate Modern, London, and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, presents an in-depth overview of the artist’s spatial research and his experiments with architecture, the use of light, sound, language, and video.

Bruce Nauman Neons Corridors Rooms
Among living artists, Bruce Nauman has influenced the history of contemporary art from the mid-1960s to the present, with a research that spans various media: installation, video, sculpture, performance, photography, drawing, and sound.
Nauman places at the center of his artistic production the interest in understanding human experience, its conventions, and the deeper aspects of the psyche, studied through the perception of the body, the relationship with space, time, and language.
In Bruce Nauman Neons Corridors Rooms there is also frequent use of wordplay that explores alternative methods of communication. The exhibition, previously displayed at the Tate Modern in London and at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam in 2021, is characterized by a specific focus on Nauman’s spatial and architectural research.
It is possible to admire some works already exhibited in London and Amsterdam, and the exhibition will include a considerable selection of his famous corridors and rooms.
Highlighting relationships, developments, and formal variations, the exhibition explores for the first time in their entirety the experiments carried out by the artist through light, sound, language, and video.
