Heritage on the Move

The theme chosen for the Heritage Days 2025 connects to the European slogan “Architectures: the Art of Building”: it is the Italian interpretation of the European theme “Heritage and Architecture: Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future.”

An invitation to explore the rich and varied architectural landscape that surrounds us, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the European Year of Architectural Heritage in 1975, which inspired, among other things, the official logo of the European Heritage Days.

The plural “Architectures” evokes the multiplicity of types and functions of built heritage: from the famous monuments of art cities to the lesser-known buildings of rural and industrial areas.
