The Etruscans on Display in Venice: The Exhibition
If you are in Venice, do not miss the exhibition ETRUSCANS AND VENETI in Venice.
The exhibition in Venice is one of the most anticipated cultural events of 2026.
A must-see for those who love modern art.
From March 6 to September 29, 2026, the Doge’s Palace in Venice will host ETRUSCANS AND VENETI.
The exhibition is dedicated to the development of societies in two major civilizations of pre-Roman Italy, the Etruscans and the Venetians, during the 1st millennium BC: seas, rivers, healing springs, and thermal waters are the privileged environments for contact with the divine, spaces for healing, but also places for the growth of the community, destinations for transit and cultural exchange.

A project of great scientific and educational scope, where the dialogue between two civilizations differing in geographies and cultural roots emerges, among which exchanges and relationships flourished along that border in the ‘land between the two rivers’, between the lower course of the Adige and the ancient eastern course of the Po.
An exchange of raw materials, made possible by the opening of new trade routes, but also of ideas, cultures, and knowledge. Rivers, seas, and waters are the emblem of constant movement, like that of people, uniting and leading to forms of mutual knowledge of men and women.
