After the Tate and the British Museum, Linda Karshan arrives in Rome, from December 17 to January 19 at the Palazzo della Cancelleria Apostolica, with De Humana Mensura, a journey that brings the American artist to the capital, who has made drawing a practice of breath and movement, an inner grammar capable of transforming gesture into rhythm and rhythm into form, ultimately tracing a deep relationship between man and the order of the cosmos.
She does this with a special exhibition in tribute to Rome, in the heart of the Jubilee Year of Hope: for the first time, a selection of works from Italian and international collections is gathered to restore the profound dialogue that the artist maintains with the Renaissance, with Leonardo and Michelangelo, with Plato and Alberti, with that idea of harmony that transcends centuries and cultures. A journey that guides the visitor through a continuous crossing: between paper and space, between gesture and measure, between thought and vision.
