Le lien entre Kapoor <\/strong>et la ville lagunaire a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 fort, au point que l\u2019artiste a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019y ouvrir sa Fondation au Palazzo Manfrin<\/strong>, dans le quartier de Cannaregio<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La montrer<\/strong>, divis\u00e9e entre les espaces des Galeries de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie de Venise<\/strong> et le Palazzo Manfrin<\/strong> lui-m\u00eame, est curat\u00e9e par Taco Dibbits<\/strong>, Directeur du Rijksmuseum d’Amsterdam<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anish Kapoor : mat\u00e9riaux, couleurs et th\u00e8mes <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anish Kapoor <\/strong>est un artiste polyvalent, utilisant des mat\u00e9riaux tels que marbre, bois, granit, calcaire ou pl\u00e2tre<\/strong>. Ses \u0153uvres se caract\u00e9risent par des objets g\u00e9om\u00e9triques ou bioformes<\/strong> o\u00f9 se trouvent des couleurs vives<\/strong> – un hommage \u00e0 la culture indienne – et des surfaces r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissantes qui refl\u00e8tent ou, au contraire, absorbent la lumi\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il n\u2019est pas surprenant qu\u2019au sein de la montrer<\/strong>, organis\u00e9e comme une grande r\u00e9trospective de la carri\u00e8re de l\u2019artiste indien, toutes ses \u0153uvres<\/strong> les plus repr\u00e9sentatives soient expos\u00e9es, y compris celles r\u00e9alis\u00e9es avec le soi-disant Kapoor Black<\/strong>, un mat\u00e9riau cr\u00e9\u00e9 par nanotecnologie capable d\u2019absorber environ 99,9 % de la lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La premi\u00e8re consiste en un canon<\/strong>, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Kapoor<\/strong> en collaboration avec des ing\u00e9nieurs, qui tire de v\u00e9ritables projectiles<\/strong> en cire rouge pesant chacun 11 kilos<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le r\u00e9sultat ? Un sc\u00e9nario apocalyptique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shooting Into the Corner,<\/em><\/strong> point\u00e9 directement sur l\u2019entr\u00e9e par laquelle on acc\u00e8de, est <\/em>imm\u00e9diatement visible pour le visiteur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’\u0153uvre, compte tenu de la p\u00e9riode historique actuelle et de la guerre en Ukraine, peut \u00eatre facilement interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e comme un \u00e9cho \u00e0 celle-ci bien qu’il n’y ait aucun lien explicite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est une \u0153uvre <\/strong>qui joue sur la tension<\/strong>, sur la forte agressivit\u00e9<\/strong> des projectiles et sur le silence<\/strong> qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de le tir et l’impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
