Utopia pr\u00e9sente, pour la premi\u00e8re fois en Italie, une anthologie enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9di\u00e9e au ma\u00eetre japonais.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida et Palerme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida, Palerme<\/a> <\/strong>l’avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 visit\u00e9e lors de Manifesta<\/strong> en 2018<\/strong> et, suite \u00e0 ce voyage, le designer a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 frapp\u00e9 par la ville sicilienne, la qualifiant de r\u00eave, charg\u00e9 de beaut\u00e9, d’\u00e9nergie et de positivit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Loggiato di San Bartolomeo,<\/strong> lieu choisi pour l’exposition, accueille au total quarante \u0153uvres<\/strong> – dont certaines r\u00e9alis\u00e9es sp\u00e9cialement – parmi peintures, dessins et grands tapisseries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

UTOPIE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L’exposition tire son titre de Utopia<\/strong>, la grande toile r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Kazumi Yoshida<\/strong> \u00e0 New York<\/strong> et compl\u00e9t\u00e9e \u00e0 Palerme<\/strong>, en collaboration avec les \u00e9tudiants de l’Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-Arts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’\u0153uvre<\/strong> symbolise donc parfaitement le cadeau que Yoshida<\/strong> fait \u00e0 Palerme : <\/strong>c’est un v\u00e9ritable hommage \u00e0 la vitalit\u00e9 et au r\u00eave<\/strong> que l’artiste a per\u00e7u en visitant la ville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les \u0153uvres<\/strong> remplissent de vie et de couleurs<\/strong> les espaces du Loggiato<\/strong> avec les animaux, la nature et les \u00e9toiles<\/strong> du zodiaque. Celles-ci sont particuli\u00e8rement dessin\u00e9es sur deux grandes tapisseries fix\u00e9es au plafond r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en collaboration avec la Fondation Antonio Ratti<\/a>,<\/strong> l’une des entreprises textiles italiennes les plus prestigieuses, c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour ses collaborations cr\u00e9atives avec les plus grands artistes du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’hommage \u00e0 Palerme<\/strong> se retrouve \u00e9galement dans la repr\u00e9sentation, dans Utopia<\/strong>, de l’un des lieux embl\u00e9matiques de la ville, \u00e0 savoir Piazza della Vergogna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La<\/strong> recherche artistique <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La recherche artistique de Yoshida<\/strong> na\u00eet de son \u00e9lan vital<\/strong>, de l’exaltation du privil\u00e8ge d’appartenir au cosmos et de l’importance de prot\u00e9ger sa beaut\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’artiste japonais cr\u00e9e ses \u0153uvres et, par la suite, les traduit en tissu et papier peint, ou vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida <\/strong>s’inspire de l’art mais aussi de la nature<\/strong> et de la mode<\/strong> et dans ses travaux se per\u00e7oit l’influence d’artistes tels que Jean Cocteau, Raoul Dufy, Fernand L\u00e9ger, Marie Laurencin, Picasso et Matisse.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parmi ses derni\u00e8res \u0153uvres, une sculpture en bois enti\u00e8rement blanche, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e pour la Cheryl Hazan Gallery de New York, et une fleur de muguet en porcelaine pour un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de charit\u00e9 organis\u00e9 par le propri\u00e9taire de Le Cabinet de Porcelain avec l’artiste Samuel Mazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
