Wolfgang et Helene Beltracchi<\/strong> sont un couple allemand qui a fait la une des journaux pour avoir tromp\u00e9 pendant des ann\u00e9es le march\u00e9 de l’art en r\u00e9alisant des faux de ma\u00eetre. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maris et femme, Wolfgang et Helene<\/strong>, comme le montre leur histoire, sont vraiment ins\u00e9parables : devenus millionnaires gr\u00e2ce aux talents artistiques de Wolfgang pour cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres d’artistes tels que Picasso, C\u00e9zanne, Rembrandt et Ernst<\/strong>, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 la partenaire parfaite dans les affaires illicites de son mari. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’affaire <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nous savons que les faux ne sont pas une nouveaut\u00e9 dans le monde de l’art, mais l’histoire des \u00e9poux Beltracchi<\/strong> a des allures de Bonnie et Clyde. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’artiste entre les deux est Wolfgang Beltracchi<\/strong>, auteur mat\u00e9riel des \u0153uvres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa carri\u00e8re de faussaire commence en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t, \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 14 ans, lorsqu’il copie pour la premi\u00e8re fois une \u0153uvre de Picasso.<\/strong> Apr\u00e8s avoir fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 une \u00e9cole d’art \u00e0 Aix-la-Chapelle<\/strong>, il ouvre avec un associ\u00e9 une galerie d’art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les affaires ont une vie br\u00e8ve, Beltracchi<\/strong> est accus\u00e9 de vol et la galerie ferme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quoi qu’il en soit, Wolfgang<\/strong> ne s’est jamais rendu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au contraire, il a exploit\u00e9 au maximum ses capacit\u00e9s d’artiste et a officiellement lanc\u00e9 son activit\u00e9 de faussaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il faut lui reconna\u00eetre le m\u00e9rite de n’avoir jamais copi\u00e9 des \u0153uvres d\u00e9j\u00e0 existantes, mais d’en avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9es de nouvelles coh\u00e9rentes avec le style des artistes choisis. Les travaux, cr\u00e9\u00e9s avec une pr\u00e9cision maniaque, \u00e9taient “authentifi\u00e9s” par de pr\u00e9tendues photos dans des catalogues sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s ou des provenances hypoth\u00e9tiques de collections tr\u00e8s importantes qui ne pouvaient certainement pas \u00eatre d\u00e9menties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout le monde est tomb\u00e9 dans le pi\u00e8ge, m\u00eame Christie\u2019s, qui en 2006 a mis aux ench\u00e8res une \u0153uvre sign\u00e9e Ernst, intitul\u00e9e La Horde<\/strong>, avec une estimation basse de 2.500.000 millions et une haute de 3.500.000 livres sterling.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBeltracchi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La condamnation et le succ\u00e8s en tant qu’artiste <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es d’affaires illicites mais certainement tr\u00e8s lucratives, en 2010 Wolfgang<\/strong> a commis cette unique erreur qui lui a co\u00fbt\u00e9, ainsi qu’\u00e0 sa femme Helene<\/strong>, une condamnation<\/strong> respectivement \u00e0 six et quatre ans de r\u00e9clusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En effet, lors d’examens sur une toile de Campendonk<\/strong>, l’utilisation d’un blanc qui n’avait pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 commercialis\u00e9 en 1917, ann\u00e9e de la pr\u00e9tendue r\u00e9alisation de la toile, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fin des jeux pour les \u00e9poux Beltracchi<\/strong>, mais seulement pour quelques ann\u00e9es. Une fois leur peine purg\u00e9e, ils se sont remis en affaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolfgang,<\/strong> pour qui la seule chose dont il se repent est d’avoir utilis\u00e9 le mauvais blanc, est devenu un artiste reconnu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
