Utop\u00eda trae, por primera vez a Italia, una antolog\u00eda completamente dedicada al maestro japon\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida y Palermo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida, Palermo<\/a> <\/strong>ya la hab\u00eda visitado en ocasi\u00f3n de Manifesta<\/strong> en 2018<\/strong> y, precisamente a ra\u00edz de ese viaje, el dise\u00f1ador ha declarado que qued\u00f3 deslumbrado por la ciudad siciliana, describi\u00e9ndola como un sue\u00f1o, lleno de belleza, energ\u00eda y positividad. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Loggiato di San Bartolomeo,<\/strong> sede elegida para la exposici\u00f3n, alberga un total de cuarenta obras<\/strong> – algunas de ellas realizadas especialmente – entre pinturas, dibujos y grandes tapices. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La exposici\u00f3n toma su t\u00edtulo de Utop\u00eda<\/strong>, el gran lienzo realizado por Kazumi Yoshida<\/strong> en Nueva York<\/strong> y completado en Palermo<\/strong>, en colaboraci\u00f3n con los estudiantes de la Academia de Bellas Artes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La obra<\/strong> simboliza perfectamente el regalo que Yoshida<\/strong> hace a Palermo: <\/strong>es un verdadero homenaje a la vitalidad y al sue\u00f1o<\/strong> que el artista ha percibido al visitar la ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las obras <\/strong>llenan de vida y colores<\/strong> los espacios del Loggiato<\/strong> con los animales, la naturaleza y las estrellas<\/strong> del zodiaco. Estas, en particular, est\u00e1n dibujadas en dos grandes tapices fijados al techo, realizados en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Fundaci\u00f3n Antonio Ratti<\/a>,<\/strong> una de las empresas textiles m\u00e1s prestigiosas de Italia, famosa por sus colaboraciones creativas con los m\u00e1s grandes artistas del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El homenaje a Palermo<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n se encuentra en la representaci\u00f3n, en Utop\u00eda<\/strong>, de uno de los lugares emblem\u00e1ticos de la ciudad, a saber, Plaza de la Verg\u00fcenza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La b\u00fasqueda art\u00edstica de Yoshida<\/strong> nace de su \u00edmpetu vital<\/strong>, de la exaltaci\u00f3n del privilegio de pertenecer al cosmos y de la importancia de proteger su belleza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El artista japon\u00e9s crea sus obras y, en un segundo momento, las traduce en tejido y papel tapiz, o viceversa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kazumi Yoshida <\/strong>se inspira en el arte pero tambi\u00e9n en la naturaleza<\/strong> y en la moda<\/strong>, y en sus trabajos se percibe la influencia de artistas como Jean Cocteau, Raoul Dufy, Fernand L\u00e9ger, Marie Laurencin, Picasso y Matisse.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre sus \u00faltimos trabajos, una escultura de madera completamente blanca, realizada para la Cheryl Hazan Gallery de Nueva York, y una flor de lirio de los valles en porcelana para un evento ben\u00e9fico organizado por el propietario de Le Cabinet de Porcelain con el artista Samuel Mazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
