Roberto Casamonti Collection<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The  Roberto Casamonti Collection<\/strong>,<\/a> located in the historic heart of Florence<\/strong>, in Piazza Santa Trinita<\/strong>, is set up on the Noble Floor of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni<\/strong>, a palace with Renaissance architecture designed in 1520 by Baccio d\u2019Agnolo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Collection<\/strong> features works created by the great masters of contemporary art, dividing the exhibition path into two sections:<\/strong> the first includes works from the early twentieth century to the sixties by artists such as Picasso, Chagall, de Chirico, Dal\u00ed, Kandinsky, Boccioni, Balla, Morandi, Burri, Fontana<\/strong> and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second section includes works from the seventies to the two thousands by artists of the caliber of Mir\u00f3,<\/strong> Basquiat, Warhol, Kapoor, Kiefer, Boetti, Abramovi\u0107<\/strong> and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palazzo Strozzi<\/a>,<\/strong> a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture in Florence<\/a><\/strong> and a dynamic international cultural center, is a symbolic place for the life of Florence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Palazzo Strozzi Foundation<\/strong> has produced and organized over fifty exhibitions<\/strong> ranging from ancient art to modern and contemporary art, as evidenced by collaborations with artists such as Ai Weiwei, Carsten H\u00f6ller, Marina Abramovi\u0107<\/strong> or highly successful<\/strong> and critically acclaimed exhibitions like Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino<\/strong> or Verrocchio, Leonardo’s master.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salvatore Ferragamo Museum<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Salvatore Ferragamo Museum in Florence<\/a><\/strong> celebrates the eponymous fashion house and its history. Founded in 1995, it hosts the brand’s collection of footwear from 1927, with the first models, to 1960, the year of Ferragamo’s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum<\/strong> has also been enriched by the production of footwear after the death of Salvatore Ferragamo<\/strong> up to the present day. Each year, indeed, some representative models of the season become part of the Salvatore Ferragamo archive, from which the museum draws for its exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/strong>Galileo Museum<\/strong> <\/a>in Florence<\/strong> has occupied the historic Palazzo Castellani<\/strong> since its foundation in 1930. Among the over one thousand objects on permanent display, it houses all the original instruments of Galileo<\/strong> that have survived to this day, including the only two existing telescopes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Large screens placed along the museum path illustrate, through captivating animations, the structure and functioning of the most important scientific instruments and experimental apparatus on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
