From the 13th of April 2024<\/strong> the Peggy Guggenheim Collection<\/a><\/strong> presents Jean Cocteau<\/strong> The Juggler\u2019s Revenge<\/strong><\/a>. This is the first major retrospective held in Italy dedicated to the French artist. <\/p>\n\n

The exhibition<\/strong> sheds light on the versatility \u2013 or juggling dexterity \u2013 that characterizes Cocteau’s<\/strong> artistic language and for which the artist is often criticized by his contemporaries.<\/p>\n\n

The Juggler’s Revenge<\/strong> traces the development of Cocteau<\/strong>‘s unique and very personal aesthetic and retraces the salient moments of his tumultuous artistic career.<\/p>\n\n
