A great exhibition<\/strong>, long awaited, conceived and created together with the artist, one of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. <\/p>\n\n

Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels <\/strong>allows you to know the great German master through a journey between historical works and new productions.<\/p>\n\n

Fallen angels<\/strong> is a journey through allegories, figures and forms that reflect on identity, poetry, historical events and different philosophical thoughts.<\/p>\n\n

Who is Anselm Kiefer <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Anselm Kiefer<\/a><\/strong>, is born in 1945 in Donaueschingen<\/strong>, Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

He studied law and Romance languages before dedicating himself to art at the academies of Freiburg and Karlsruhe. <\/p>\n\n

When he was younger he met Joseph Beuys and participated in his performance Save the Woods<\/strong> in 1971.<\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

The themes and artistic research of Anselm Kiefer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Kiefer<\/strong> made his debut at the end of the 1960s and<\/strong> immediately carried out complex research on the themes of memory, myth, history, literature and philosophy.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Kiefer therefore includes, in his artistic practice, different media including painting, sculpture, photography, woodcut, installations and architecture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

As a passionate reader, he also includes numerous literary references in many of his works: these associations evoke interest in books, both as a text and as an object. From the beginning of his career, artists’ books<\/strong> have constituted a significant part of his production.<\/p>\n\n
