The Gallerie Nazionali di Arte Antica<\/a><\/strong> presents, from November 15th to February the 29th 2024, at Palazzo Barberini<\/a><\/strong> the exhibition Lo sguardo di Dante \u2013 The Mimetic Observer.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n

The exhibition includes 27 photographs<\/strong> taken by Carlotta Valente<\/strong>, with the collaboration of Joaquin Paredes.<\/p>\n\n

The theme addressed is that of light and Dante’s imagery in the Divine Comedy.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

The exhibtion<\/strong> is organized into three series of nine images <\/strong> inspired to Dante’s canti that are presented according to the lights<\/strong> they’ve been characterized by: total darkness in the Inferno<\/strong>, a glare in the Purgatory<\/strong> and at the end in the Paradise<\/strong> a blinding brilliance.<\/p>\n\n
