DRIFT: Shy Society at Palazzo Strozzi until the 26ht of January 2025 <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n
<\/div>\n\n

A Palazzo Strozzi<\/a> <\/strong>there is, through Jan. 26, a spectacular site-specific installation titled “Shy Society”<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>in the Renaissance courtyard created by Dutch duo DRIFT, <\/strong>famous for installations, works and performance projects that combine art and technology.<\/p>\n\n

Shy Society <\/strong>transcends the boundaries between installation, sculpture and music, transforming the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi into an immersive stage for a performance that unites artistic expression, nature and science. The work is composed of seven large flowers positioned in the open space of the courtyard, which move slowly and sinuously, opening and closing in an original choreography that follows an evocative soundtrack, a symphonic piece by the contemporary American composer RZA. <\/p>\n\n

Salvatore Ferragamo 1898 – 1960 at the Ferragamo Museum until 4 November 2024 <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The Museo Ferragamo in Florence<\/a>,<\/strong> to celebrate one hundred years since the inauguration of the first Ferragamo store in Hollywood, the exhibition opens Salvatore Ferragamo 1898-1960<\/a><\/strong>, retracing the history of the great craftsman and recalling the first retrospective exhibition on Salvatore Ferragamo presented in 1985 at Palazzo Strozzi and in other prestigious venues.<\/p>\n\n

Salvatore Ferragamo 1898-1960<\/strong> it is therefore a journey back in memory, an investigation into the role of the museum and the curatorial practice that accompanies it.<\/p>\n\n
