The 2023 exhibitions<\/strong> in Rome<\/strong> are already shaping up to be a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them, Van Gogh<\/a><\/strong> and the Masterpieces from the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum<\/strong> in Otterlo<\/strong>, at Palazzo Bonaparte<\/strong>, seem to already confirm expectations <\/strong>and then Giuseppe Capogrossi<\/strong> at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome<\/strong> marks his return to the city after 20 years, Crazy<\/strong> at the Chiostro del Bramante<\/strong>, photography in the shots of Collection<\/strong> at Villa Medici<\/strong>, and finally the architecture of Mario Botta at MAXXI.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van Gogh Masterpieces from the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum at Palazzo Bonaparte until March 26, 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Van Gogh Masterpieces from the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum<\/a> opens at Palazzo Bonaparte<\/a><\/strong>, in Rome<\/a><\/strong>, and is one of the most anticipated exhibitions of 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open from October 8, 2022, it is already being hailed as the exhibition of the year dedicated to the Dutch genius, on the eve of the 170th anniversary of his birth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vincent Van Gogh<\/a><\/strong> was born in Zundert, Netherlands,<\/strong> on March 30, 1853: his life was extremely troubled, marked by extreme sensitivity and unfortunately dictated by several bouts of madness, during one of which he even cut off his ear. He spent long periods in the psychiatric hospital of Saint Paul in Provence until July 29, 1890<\/strong>, when at just thirty-seven years old, he shot himself in the chest in the fields of Auvers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palazzo Bonaparte<\/strong> showcases some of the most famous masterpieces of Van Gogh: <\/strong>there are 50 works<\/strong> coming from the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum in Otterlo<\/strong>, which houses the most important collection of the artist’s works after the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition Van Gogh Masterpieces from the Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum<\/strong> at Palazzo Bonaparte<\/strong> celebrates the greatness of the artist, retracing his life and career. It also presents the places most dear to and lived by the painter, from Arles to St. Remy and Auvers-Sur-Oise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the passionate relationship with the dark landscapes<\/strong> of his youth to the sacred study of the work of the land, figures emerge that act in a severe daily life, such as the sower<\/a>, the potato pickers, the weavers, the woodcutters, the women engaged in domestic tasks or exhausted from carrying sacks of coal or digging the earth<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of these are expressions of the greatness and intense relationship with the truth of the world of Van Gogh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
