The Louvre Invites the Capodimonte Museum<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

About seventy works <\/strong>from the Italian museum <\/strong>have been lent to the French one for an exhibition where everything blends naturally, and each work finds its place as if it has always been there, interacting with those in the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naples<\/a> <\/strong>brings to Paris<\/strong> its main masterpieces including the Crucifixion by Masaccio, The Transfiguration by Giovanni Bellini<\/a>, <\/strong>theAntea by Parmigianino<\/strong>, the Danae by Titian<\/a> and the Portrait of Pope Paul III Farnese<\/a><\/strong>, along with many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition<\/strong> has been organized in two different rooms of the Louvre<\/strong>, the salle de la Chapelle and the salle de l’Horloge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first, the origins and diversities of the Capodimonte <\/strong>collections are narrated with the dynasties of the Farnese, the Bourbons, and the Bonaparte-Murat<\/strong>. Here, the protagonists are the Portrait of Pope Paul III Farnese<\/em> with his grandchildren, by Titian, and the Portrait of Giulio Clovio<\/em> by El Greco<\/strong>, alongside sculptures and objects like the Farnese Cassette<\/strong> or the Salt Cellar by Benvenuto Cellini.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
