Twelfth artists to tell the story of digital art in Italy today. Twelve creative visions for a collective narrative. Quiet Ensemble, Manuel Gardina, Auriea Harvey, Matteo Mauro, Giovanni Motta, Fabio Giampietro, Martina Menegon, The Cool Couple, Niro Perrone, Lorenza Liguori, Daniele Di Donato, and Pascal Greco are the leading voices of the second edition of the VDA Award, the recognition entirely dedicated to the relationship between art and digital technology, which this year also prepares to map the current and multifaceted visions that question the present through the digital.

Through divergent aesthetics, digital interactivity, hybrid languages, and ever-evolving technologies – from VR to 3D, from immersive technologies to gaming, to AI – the VDA Award allows for a complex and layered narrative of contemporaneity.

Each work is at the same time a vision, analytical tool, and critical act, because today digital art is no longer just an expressive practice: it is a magnifying glass on our time, a flexible and metamorphic language capable of inhabiting complexity.
The 12 works will be visible to the public from July 9 on the YouTube channel of Var Digital Art and on the web page of VDA Award 2025 dedicated to the prize. Only four of them will be selected for the final, which will take place at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rimini on October 23 and 24, as part of Z!ng – Zone of Innovation and Growth: the Var Group event that annually ignites the digital innovation scene.

On October 23 and 24, at the Palacongressi in Rimini, Z!ng returns with a renewed format and an even more ambitious mission: to stimulate a deep reflection on how to transform business by integrating different intelligences — artificial, human, collective, and organizational — to give rise to a new evolutionary paradigm.
Through the testimony of international speakers and a unique combination of strategic vision, concrete experiences, and moments of discussion, Z!ng aims to inspire and engage these intelligences, guiding companies towards new organizational models that are more agile, efficient, and sustainable.
