Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma<\/a><\/strong> beherbergt ab heute, 5. Mai<\/strong> bis zum 4. Juni<\/strong>, die 66. Ausgabe<\/strong> des World Press Photo 2023<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Ausstellung<\/a><\/strong> zeigt die Fotos, die im Rahmen des prestigetr\u00e4chtigen Fotojournalismuspreises<\/strong> ausgew\u00e4hlt wurden, der jedes Jahr verschiedene professionelle Fotografen<\/strong> f\u00fcr ihre besten Aufnahmen<\/strong> auszeichnet und zur Geschichte des visuellen Journalismus weltweit beitr\u00e4gt.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ausgew\u00e4hlten Fotos<\/strong> in der Ausstellung<\/strong> wurden aus 60.000 Bildern<\/strong> und Projekten<\/strong> ausgew\u00e4hlt, die von 3.752 Fotografen aus 127 L\u00e4ndern<\/strong> eingereicht wurden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unter den Fotografen des World Press Photo, die in der Ausstellung vertreten sind, erinnern wir an:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evgeniy Maloletka<\/strong>, der ein herzzerrei\u00dfendes Bild aus dem M\u00e4rz 2022 w\u00e4hrend der Belagerung von Mariupol<\/strong> in der Ukraine<\/strong> aufgenommen hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Motiv des Fotos ist eine schwangere Frau, die auf einer Trage aus der Entbindungsstation eines durch einen russischen Luftangriff besch\u00e4digten Krankenhauses transportiert wird. Die schwer verletzte Frau starb eine halbe Stunde nach der Geburt des leblosen K\u00f6rpers ihres Kindes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Gewinner des World Press Photo Story<\/strong> of the Year<\/strong> war hingegen Mads Nissen<\/strong>, ein d\u00e4nischer Fotograf, mit seiner Geschichte The Price of Peace in Afghanistan<\/strong>: neun<\/strong> beunruhigende und gleichzeitig wundersch\u00f6ne Fotos<\/strong>, die an die t\u00e4glichen Schwierigkeiten des afghanischen Volkes erinnern, das unter dem Regime der Taliban ohne internationale Hilfe lebt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den World Press Photo Long-Term Project Award<\/strong> erhielt Battered Waters<\/strong> von der armenischen Fotografin Anush Babajanyan<\/strong>, f\u00fcr VII Photo\/National Geographic Society.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Projekt beleuchtet die Auswirkungen der D\u00fcrre und des Wassermanagements<\/strong> in Tadschikistan, Kirgisistan, Usbekistan und Kasachstan<\/strong> nach dem Fall der Sowjetunion<\/strong> und zeigt den starken Resilienzgeist der Bev\u00f6lkerungen, die sich an die neue Realit\u00e4t anpassen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der World Press Photo Open Format Award<\/strong> wurde hingegen dem \u00e4gyptischen Fotografen Mohamed Madhy mit Here, The doors don\u2019t know me<\/strong> verliehen, in dem er die Geschichte einer Gemeinschaft von Fischern erz\u00e4hlt, die im Stadtteil Al Max in Alexandria, \u00c4gypten, verschwindet. Die Arbeit ist mehrschichtig aufgebaut und besteht aus einem fotografischen Ansatz, Archivmaterial der Anwohner, Briefen, handgeschriebenen Zeichnungen, Videos und Ger\u00e4uschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
